Positions Available

We are always looking for accomplished players for our orchestra, both full-time, and as substitutes. Our regular rehearsals in Waterloo are at 7:30 p.m. (primarily on Tuesdays with one Thursday per concert). The dress rehearsal is at 9:30 am on the Saturday morning of the concert. If the concert is on Sunday, the dress rehearsal is on Saturday the day prior.

Principal positions are held by professional players. Openings for these are advertised at www.Orchestrascanada.org.

Anticipated Section Vacancies for the 2010-2011 season.

These positions would normally be filled by talented amateur musicians. If they remain vacant then they are filled on a per concert basis by university music students or professional players.

2nd Bassoon (honorarium position--to be confirmed)
