NATIONAL STUDENT COMPOSER COMPETITION

The Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra announces the second National Student Composer Competition.

The competition is open to any student currently enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program at a Canadian post secondary institution.

The deadline for submissions to be received by the Orchestra is October 31, 2011.

The winning work will be performed by the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra on April 15, 2012.

The winning composer will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
