NATIONAL STUDENT COMPOSER COMPETITION

The Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra is initiating the first National Student Composer Competition.

The competition is open to any student currently enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program at a Canadian post secondary institution.

The deadline for submissions to be received by the Orchestra is November 1, 2010.

The winning work will be performed by the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra on April 17, 2011.

The winning composer will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
